Anjedan
, lies in Markazi, Iran and its geographical coordinates are 33° 57' 42" North, 50° 2'38" East
Anjedan is an old village; it is situated in west side of Khomein road, 40 Km from Arak.
Anjedan is placed in the border of the wild life protected area called “Haftaad gholle” one of only few places in Iran where you can still find considerable number of mountain ships,panters,etc
It was once famous for being the center of power for Sufi community called Ismaeelion who had great influence on Sufism and Iran’s history.
Anjedan means the place where Anjad grows.Anjad is a plant flourished with female sex hormones. It is said that when shepherds use to collect this plant milk would come from their mummery glands.
The only source of water here is a spring which flows down the village passing the northern and southern part of village and had kept the area green for many years.
The area is famous for its walnut and wheat besides having one of the most fertile lands near Arak.
The winter is cold with regular snow falls and the summer is warm and pleasant.
